RV RESORT
POLICIES & GUIDELINES

We have established the following RV Resort guidelines to help ensure your safety and your enjoyment while in our park, as well as our other guests. Those who choose not to observe these guidelines can be asked to leave our resort without any form of refund.

Guests and their visitors are expected to be considerate of fellow campers and conduct themselves in a manner consistent with a family atmosphere. Our goal is to maintain the inherent beauty of the RV and marina grounds. Sites must be kept clean and tidy.

RV Requirements: The RV Park at Tims Ford Marina was developed to accommodate self-contained recreational vehicles. Tents, tent campers, or other vehicles not designed for recreational use are not allowed. All recreational vehicles must be in good mechanical and cosmetic condition, and units that are 1999 models or older require preapproval by management.

Vehicles: Vehicles must be parked on your site with a maximum of two (2) vehicles.

Pets: Pets are required to be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Quiet Hours: 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Speed Limit: 5 mph throughout the entire property.

Trailer Parking: Trailer parking is provided in the designated area near the cabins (seven (7) days maximum). Please secure a permit from the marina office and attach it to the trailer. For trailer parking longer than seven (7) days, a fenced-in area is available for $150/6 months.

Campfires: Open fires are permitted only in the provided fire pits.

Children: Parents are responsible for the behavior and welfare of their children. Parents must always supervise their children while they are using campground facilities.

Firearms/Fireworks: Use of firearms is prohibited. Fireworks are not permitted to be set off on the property.

Alcohol Consumption: Tennessee state law requires alcoholic beverages must be consumed within the confines of your campsite.

Trash: Trash can be deposited in the dumpsters near the cabin area.

Site Usage: Sites cannot be used as or considered a “residence,” which is not allowed under property restrictions. Longer term leases are offered for the convenience of our customers only. Sites may not be used for commercial ventures of any kind.

Site Assignment: Sites once selected or assigned cannot be changed without approval.

Site Subleasing: Sites cannot be sublet.

Personal Items: Please minimize items left outside the recreational vehicle. Examples of permissible items are table and chairs, cooler, grill, garbage can, or bicycle.

Accessory Structures: Porches or decks may be allowed on some sites with advance approval of management. Other structures and clotheslines are not permitted.

Ground Coverings: Do not cover the grass with carpet or mats. This kills the grass. One mat no larger than 6 feet x 8 feet is permitted immediately outside the RV’s entrance door.

Safety: When leaving your RV unattended for more than 24 hours, please retract awnings and safely store items left outside. This is also important during stormy and windy conditions.

Groundskeeping: The lawn maintenance contractor is scheduled to mow and trim the RV park every Thursday (in season), weather permitting. Please keep this in mind and remove any chairs, tables, obstacles, or stakes from grassy areas. This will help to prevent damage.

Liability: Management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or losses incurred for any cause to guests or visitors.
